About

The Interfulgent Institute

The Interfulgent Institute trains counsellors, psychotherapists and other practitioners in how the brain, the body and subtle energy work together in therapy. It does this through diplomas, workshops and lectures that join research with practice.

Marcus Sorensen founded the Institute in 2020. Its graduates can join it as a professional association, which keeps a code of conduct and a public directory of practitioners.

Marcus Sorensen

Founder of the Interfulgent Institute

Marcus Sorensen is a professional educator, therapist and researcher, and a web and graphic designer. He built his first website in 1996 and has worked at the forefront of digital technology and development since.

He now has a keen interest in bringing AI, therapy and research together for minority populations, and for people who need support with mental health, neurodivergence, trauma or addiction. That work is built first on sound design principles, and on being inspired, curious and connected with one’s own potential.
